Compression Systems

Compression systems are used for conditioning and pressurizing of gases such as fuel gas and air. Consumers such as gas turbines and gas engines may require higher supply gas pressures into their burning process. Gas Compression Systems can also be used when gasses need to be transported over long distances. Air Compression Systems are used to supply plant air or instrument air.

Air Compression Systems are used to provide instrument air or plant air. Eltacon Engineering B.V. designs, manufactures and delivers tailor made compression systems suitable for almost any operation and requirement. Most of the Air Compression Systems are electric motor driven. Diesel engine driven systems can be supplied for specific applications.

	Standard Compression Systems The picture shows an acoustic insulated HV-electric motor driven screw compressor operating in tropical conditions. The purpose of this air compression system is to deliver instrument air to an oil operating company. The complete package is designed according to customers requirements and specifications.

	Instrument Air System The delivered scope of supply includes 3 compressor systems suitable for desert conditions. The 2 stage, oil free compressors are air cooled and designed for an ambient temperature of 55 degree Celsius with heavy sand loads. The scope of supply includes compression systems, air coolers and PLC controlled operator panels. Before shipment to site, the complete scope was tested.

	Instrument Air System The picture shows a package for the supply of dry and clean air into the system on site. The air compressors itself are acoustic insulated to decrease the overall noise level. If the unit is installed indoor, no weatherproof protection is required.

	Special Compression Systems Containerized and acoustic insulated emergency air compressor package. The closed circuit water-cooled diesel engine drives the compressor to provide air in emergency situations to the plant systems. This system operates as stand-alone unit.

	Containerised Instrument Air Units For reasons of outdoor installation and easy transportation to site, the instrument air units can be containerised. The container also reduces the overall noise level into customer specified levels.

Gas Compression Systems are used for compression and conditioning of (flammable) gasses and ensure the quantity and quality of gas to a gas turbine or gas engine. Gas compression can be performed by means of compressors or blowers. Together with our Fuel Systems, Eltacon Engineering B.V. is able to deliver complete or modular equipment according customer specifications in hazardous area locations.
We also supply Gas Compression of non-flammable gasses, such as Nitrogen.

	Natural Gas High voltage electric motor driven gas compressor with pressure vessels, filtration and interconnecting piping packaged together on a common base frame for easy installation.

	Compression Systems for Mine Gas To withdraw gas from underground mines, the gas is being boostered from almost atmospheric pressures up to the utility gas pressure. The picture shows a single stage, acoustic insulated gascompressor package.
