Gas Filter Systems


During almost two decades Eltacon Engineering designs, manufactures, tests and delivers various types of gas filter units for numerous reputable end users and turbine manufacturers.

In the early nineties we supplied units like……
 

 

Today we supply gas filter units in a wide range of alternative executions, all based on three standard configurations;

- single gas filter units comprising of one 100% coalescing filter
- double gas filter units comprising of two 100% coalescing filters
- extended gas filter units comprising of two 100% particle and two 100% coalescing filters.

Standard coalescing filters are available in the sizes CF-01 to CF-06, depending on flow quantities.
Typically the gas flows range from 2.000 to 30.000 nm3 per hour corresponding with turbine outputs from 5 to 60 MW.

All standard configurations are available in carbon steel, low temperature steel and stainless steel for filter housing, inlet and outlet piping.

Standard connection sizes and pressure ratings are:
Inlet/outlet piping : 1” to 8”
Pressure rating : 150 to 600 lbs

The standard gas fuel units are usually designed according ASME B31.3 and ASME VIII div. 1 and can be supplied with following certification:
- PED / CE
- DVGW / TA Luft / TRD
- Nace according MR0175
- GOST K
- GOST R
- ATEX

Optional following executions can be implemented:
- insulation including valve stem extensions, threadolets etc.
- electrical tracing
- U-stamp
- electrical heater with thyristor control panel
- skid with (sun) roof
- platforms for filter element replacement
- stainless steel base frame
- automated drain lines
- knock-out vessel
- pressure reducing section
- Coriolis flow meter, ATEX, PED / CE including installation and cabling, alternatively provided with heated instrument box for environmental temperatures below -15 ΊC.

Besides the standard range of gas fuel units we are also in the position to supply larger single, double or extended units.
The design of such units is based on the specific duty and requirements as stipulated by the customer and specific environmental conditions.

Pressure reducing, safety shut-off, fiscal metering, flow control, gas filtration, gas heating,
gas cooling or a combination thereof are typically part of such special extended units.
